"Exótico Americano" Frederico7's first solo album fuses Afro-Brazilian beats with American Funk, Soul, Dub and other psychedelic sounds (02.23.2019).
Pan-American rocker, born and raised in Brazil; Frederico also lived in Mexico and Argentina prior to setting roots in the "Live Music Capital of the World" Austin, Texas; his bands have been a constant presence amongst the best worldbeat groups from Austin (5X @ the ‘Best of Austin Chronicle Poll’). An ambassador of Pan American Soul music who has performed with artists such as Grupo Fantasma, Jair de Oliveira, Los Amigos Invisibles, Lee Scratch Perry, Cafe Tacvba, Damian Marley and many others. Festivals appearances include SXSW , Austin City Limits (ACL), Houston International Fest, Saturnalia 2018 & tours in Colombia, Mexico and the USA.
